This design fetures the front view of Rodmarton Manor and some of the garden topiary, the archers from one of the appliques, Tetbury Market Place , the Feoffees' arms, the dolphins of Tetbury, as well as a view of Gumstool Hill and the stream in Tetbury. Divided in panels to echo designs on the carving on the edges of furniture at Rodmarton Manor. The apple blossom and irises at the bottom of Janine's design from the garden in May.
Janine screen prints directly onto the clay and then hand builds each piece individually. After the first firing the work is glazed and re-fired and the beautiful colour of the cobalt oxide shines through. Most of the work is then finished with an extravagant gold lustre.
